How an alley cat becomes a house cat:
Find two suckers who are coming out of their house and rub against their legs.
Act cute to get milk.
Come back often enough to make them want to buy you cat food.
When they let you in their interior staircase, refuse to leave.

Why it will never work:
Even though you don’t have a collar, you look healthy like a cat who already has a family and is just using these suckers for extra attention.
The suckers are moving away in four months.
The girl is deathly allergic to cats.
The boy isn’t ready to get rid of the girl yet.

Il est tellement cute en plus!
J’ai eu le même coup joué par une chatte et son bébé il y a trois mois…sauf que là, on les a gardé! Ça me fendait le coeur de les laisser dehors avec le froid de l’hiver qui s’en venait, et surtout parce que les deux femelles étaient si petites et maigres…
Maintenant, elles sont hyper affectueuses et nous sommes contents, Chum et moi, de les avoir prises avec nous (même si on avait déjà 2 autres chats!)
Ça me brise le coeur aussi, mais je ne peux pas le garder. Au moins, il n’est pas maigre et il a l’air en santé. Je suis certaine que d’autres voisins font la même chose que nous.
Ce n’est peut-être pas un vrai chat, mais plutôt une créature mutante envoyée par eux pour vous espionner. Ses articulations biomécaniques sont recouverts de vrai poil de chat pour vous incommoder. Soyez prudente.
